Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, a chiropractor is the first-line treatment for a personal injury. They are specially trained to evaluate and treat injuries from auto accidents.

The chiropractor will take a detailed history of your accident and complaint of injuries. Then, the doctor will perform a number of musculoskeletal and neurological tests to determine the extent and severity of your injuries. After that, the chiropractor will develop a personalized treatment plan to help you recover.

Chiropractors use several treatment modalities to help with auto injury pain. They will use passive therapies, such as muscle stimulation, laser therapy, ultrasound, taping, bracing, and splinting if needed. They will also use manual therapies and joint manipulation to help decrease pain and increase your body’s range of motion and function. Lastly, once you are improving, they will teach you strength and stability exercises to return you to normal health and strength.

Yes, chiropractic adjustments are safe and beneficial in treating injuries sustained from a personal injury accident.
