Desi received his LMT license from Suncoast Massage School in 2000. He has practiced in the Tampa Area for 10 years before he moved to Philadelphia and started a Massage company and was named Best Massage Therapist for 2011. He practiced 2 years in Philadelphia before moving to the Washington coast area where he practiced massage therapy. He has since moved to Portland and has been very happy to practice massage at Portland Wellness for the last 6 years.
Desi specializes in deep tissue injury work including workman’s comp, motor vehicle injuries, and sports injuries. Desi maintains his practice by maintaining his CEU requirements for Oregon Licensure as well as staying up to date with the latest massage modalities.
Kevin is a longtime NW native and lifelong athlete. His pursuit in sport is the inspiration to study movement sciences and massage therapy. He studied Kinesiology at Western Washington University and received his massage training at East West College here in Portland where he has called home since 2017.
Kevin integrates western techniques with traditional relaxation bodywork in his massage practice. He approaches massage from a structural integration perspective that takes in account a client’s postural balance, daily movement patterns and addresses causes for dysfunction or pain. Kevin’s goal in every session is to treat each client individually to help decrease pain levels and improve function.
Madison has been an athlete since a young age.Her understanding of muscle pain comes from personal experience as well as her education. Madison got her massage therapy license with Carrington College. She has an associates degree in Kinesiology from Skyline Community College in San Bruno California. She also has a health coaching certification from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Currently she is enrolled at Portland State University and pursuing a bachelors degree in Health and Fitness.
Madison’s approach to body work is still evolving since she got her license in 2022. So far she enjoys doing focus work and using multiple different approaches, mainly including Swedish massage techniques along with deep tissue therapy.
